2009's 5 games for PC gamers.

Despite popular belief, PC gaming isn't "dead." In fact, it's still an active section of gaming and has some pretty good titles out right now. What's better? Amazon's got them for even cheaper. I organized a list of games that came out this year you should absolutely be checking out, they are:

5) The Sims 3 (on sale for only $30, That's $20 or 40% off).
This game lets you play God to your creations. This series has had a lot more success than it's sister game Spore, and the popular World Adventures Expansion Pack just came out as well to add further depth on what you can do with your creations. This is a great game for the artistic and creative gamer.

4) Dragon Age: Origins (on sale for $40 on the PC, $50 on the 360 or PS3).
Keep in mind this is NOT just a port of the console version, it's debatable to be the BETTER version of the game. Plus it's Bioware, the same company who brought us the masterpiece Mass Effect and its sequel Mass Effect 2 next month (it WILL take your life). For your fantasy, D&D loving gamer, this is it.

3) Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 ($52.96 on the PC but STILL only $45 on 360 and PS3!).
It's no debate that this is the years best FPS. Giving you the best of single player and multiplayer action and immersion, I named this an epic game this year. This is for the gamer who loves FPS's but wants something not so run and gun as Halo.

2) The mod friendly Left 4 Dead 2 ($40 on PC, $50 on 360 but don't buy it at that price, it'll absolutely get cheaper again).
Valve returned with an awesome sequel to its original from last year. I personally have always wanted to try and play L4D on my PC to try the mods as there's some fun stuff out there. Get this for the gamer who wants to be able to tinker with the games settings beyond the normal capacities. This leads us to our final choice

1) Fallout 3: Game of The Year Edition (only $45 on PC, $57 on 360 and PS3).
This is the game for gamers who love exploration and FPS's. It has a story that's great, but gives you the option to put it on pause at almost anytime to be able to explore the living world around you. By now, you know I love this game on my 360, but I've been tempted many a times to buy the PC version to try some of the incredible mods out there for this. Lightsaber's FTW!

With the PC list out of the way, watch for my console lists next in the coming days.
