Blackberry Storm 2 is $10 with a contract!

Wait, WHAT?! You can buy the BlackBerry Storm2 9550 Phone for Verizon Wireless for only $10 with a 2 yr service contract with Verizon. Looking for a cheap smart phone? THIS IS IT.

PLEASE NOTE: I personally called Amazon to check this deal out, this price is ONLY FOR NEW CUSTOMERS, not current Verizon customers.

Infamous is $40 and gets you a $20 Amazon PSN store credit

Save you $20, give you $20. Infamous is only $40 right now and you'll get a $20 Amazon PSN store credit to boot. Hit it up.

After the Cyber Monday, DJ Hero bundle is $85

Seriously, it blows my mind when you can find a game cheaper after Black Friday than during, but who cares?! Right now you can pick up the DJ Hero Bundle with Turntable (the NORMAL edition, not the Renegade) for Xbox 360, PS3 or Wii for only $85!! THAT'S $35 OFF!! I have no idea how long this will last, but if you want it NOW'S the time!

Buy a qualifying PS3 game, get a $20 PSN store credit

When you buy a qualifying PS3 game from this list, you'll get a $20 PSN credit to be used on Amazon's Playstation store. The a bunch of good titles on this list, including God of War: Collection ($37), LittleBigPlanet: Game of the Year Edition ($50) and Killzone 2 ($50).

Take a look and get what you can while you can.

Terminator and a couple other movie deals

So I did a little snooping around and found the following happenings on Amazon you all might be interested in.

Who wants some Terminator Blu-ray action? Right now you can get any of the 4 movies on Blu-Ray on sale.

The Terminator [Blu-ray] is $8
Terminator 2: Judgment Day (Skynet Edition) [Blu-ray] is $11
Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines [Blu-ray] is $10
Terminator Salvation (Director's Cut) [Blu-ray] is $16

Outside of that, I caught just a couple of potential deals

Watchmen: The Ultimate Cut [Blu-ray] is $31
The Nightmare on Elm Street Collection (DVD) is $20.48

Cyber Monday may be tomorrow, but history has shown us that the deals aren't as good, at least compared to Black Friday. Keep your eye on it anyway just in case, you never know what could pop up.

Assassin's Creed 1 is $10

See, normally I would tell you to just skip buying Assassin's Creed 1 if you haven't played it already, but at $10 which is almost the same price as a rental now adays, I can say you can go ahead and do it. This will at least give you the back story you need to play this years fantastic sequel, Assassins Creed 2.

This price isn't likely to last, so if you're debating on it or want to jump into the franchise this is your shot.

Get UP!, Monsters Inc. and Cars Blu-Rays and get $26 off!

Well this IS a deal! When you buy

Up (4 Disc Combo Pack with Digital Copy and DVD) [Blu-ray]
Monsters, Inc. (4-Disc Edition) [Blu-ray]
Cars [Blu-ray]

Together, you save $26!

Go here to see the offer and enter during checkout the promo code

PIXARBLU

You'll see that you save $26 on buying all 3, making each just over $10 a Blu-Ray!

Good Morning Good Game Deals

With Cyber Monday coming around tomorrow, I'm really not to sure what to expect tomorrow. Typically, Black Friday has the better deals. We can hope Amazon delivers tomorrow but we'll see.

In the meantime, you should know that Tekken 6 for the PS3 has dropped back down to $35 while it's still cheaper on the Xbox 360 at $33.

In case you haven't heard, Guitar Hero Metallica has been on sale this weekend as well for $25 on either PS3 or Xbox 360. With prices jumping up and down more than a 5 yr old on a pogo stick, it's still worth it to keep your eye on Amazon's Cyber Monday deal page now.

Game Update

So this morning I posted what the aftermath prices are, here's an update for this evening

UPDATE: Looks like Sonic Chronicles: The Dark Brotherhood jumped in on the action for $10.

First, a few games dropped back down to the $35 price point, specifically
Left 4 Dead 2
Dragon Age: Origins
Madden NFL 10
FIFA Soccer 10
Need for Speed: Shift
Brütal Legend
NBA Live 10

Also remember that I mentioned Uncharted 2: Among Thieves $40, a fantastic price for a fantastic game.

If you want Tekken 6, only the Xbox 360 version is still $33, the PS3 version is now back up to $50.

Halo 3: ODST dropped slightly to $38.40.

Keep your eyes on the Black Friday Deals page throughout the weekend to get more deals.

Uncharted 2 is $40 right now!

Call it a Black Friday deal, I don't really care. All I know is Uncharted 2: Among Thieves is $40 right now on Amazon.

My suggestion? BUY IT.

Marvel Ultimate Alliance 2 Review: Super Hero Team Ups are more fun

With all the Black Friday stuff going on, I thought it would be a good change of pace to get back to the reviews as I been slacking on them as of late. Keep in mind that my review is for the 360/PS3 version of Marvel Ultimate Alliance 2, I haven't played the Wii version (and Amazon wont give me the correct image). Should this game be on your wish list this holiday season? Well, not at the top, but at a more appealing price (if you can't wait it's $38.43 right now during the Black Friday weekend), I would say it's a decent time to pick it up.

As a stocking stuffer anyway

Pros:

Fusion Frenzy: Once again, you got a collection of Marvel's biggest and best super hero's (Captain America, Iron Man, Spider-Man, Wolverine, Thor, X-Men, Fantastic Four, etc), but this time you get to mix their powers to make powerful attacks. I never thought shooting Wolverine with lightning bolts or repulsor rays would be so much fun.

Live the war: Back in 2006-2007, the Civil War storyline forever changed the Marvel Universe. Regardless if fans agreed or disagreed with the reasons, ideas, or results from it, MUA2 gives you a chance to play through a pretty accurate representation of what went down in that storyline for about half the game. Choose your side and defend your ideals.

Power Specific: Depending on whose side you choose (Captain America's or Iron Man's), you get a different set of abilities you can use. This gives players incentive to replay the game from the other point of view.

Cons:

It's better with friends: While you can absolutely play this game on your own, the real value of the gamplay comes from playing with friends on Xbox live. There's more satisfaction from pulling off a fusion attack with a buddy than an AI partner, not to mention the average Xbox Live player is slightly smarter than AI teammates (keyword "slightly").

Really? That's your best idea?: A little past the halfway point of the campaign, the developers threw in a new story idea that was pretty mediocre. While I understand that they have to change things up a bit, the plot twist is kinda unsatisfying. Also, key parts to the Civil War story are cut. I understand you can't fit everything into the story, but not making the Stamford incident a playable level felt kind of like a cop out, not to mention a few other key events and deaths.

Sometimes less is more: All characters should not be playable for both sides throughout the game, period. I understand they're trying to give you the option to play the war YOUR way and that 3 characters ARE exclusive per side, but if you really want players to get replayability from playing this game, you have to give them more incentive. I.E., Ms Marvel should only be playable on Iron Man's side, Wolverine should only be on Captain America's side, Spider-man should defect eventually to Captain America's side, etc. Different abilities for different sides aren't enough incentive for replayability, different characters are.

Marvel Ultimate Alliance 2 is not a $60 title by any means, but it's a decently fun game to play with friends. You might be better off just renting this title, but if you're going to pick it up try to get it when it's about half off retail

Recommended buy price: $30

Aftermath: What you can still get

So Black Friday has come and gone. To those who were able to get the deals they wanted, power to you. But to the rest of you who just weren't fast enough, thankfully you still have a chance to get almost as good deals. I've put this list from most expensive to inexpensive, top to bottom.

Lets start off with a console deal. Buy an Xbox 360 Elite, get Left 4 Dead 2 free. And yes, this DOES apply to the Modern Warfare 2 bundle! You'll be dropping either $300 or $400 depending on which bundle you go with, but either way it's a great game to go with an awesome system.

Continuing with the deal of the day, you can currently get Batman Arkham Asylum Collectors Edition (both Xbox 360 and PS3) as the deal of the day for only $64.78. The normal version is currently selling for $53 (which is about normal for Amazon).

At great prices right now are the bang for your buck Fallout 3: Game of The Year Edition & the beautiful Street Fighter IV FightStick for $50 on the 360 (but only $44 on the PS3)! I personally have and love both. Fallout 3 GOTY is already a great value at retail, getting it for any cheaper right now is a steal, and the SF4 fightstick is a great alternative if you don't have $150 to blow on the tournament stick. Plus the art is just gorgeous that can satisfy your inner Street Fighter Nerdiness.

At a not to unusual Amazon price, The Beatles: Rock Band is $50 (Xbox 360 and PS3).

On the sports end, FIFA Soccer 10 & Madden NFL 10 are $48 each (Xbox 360 and PS3). Not that much of a discount, but better than nothing.

For $40 a pop, you can get the following games on sale (Xbox 360 and PS3 except on Forza, Halo, and L4D2):
Dragon Age: Origins
Forza Motorsport 3
Left 4 Dead 2
Halo 3: ODST
Brütal Legend

For slightly less at $38.38, you can pick up Need for Speed: Shift.

The cult hit Sacred 2: Fallen Angel is at $30 (Xbox 360 and PS3).

Tekken 6 is still $33 (Xbox 360 and PS3) at the moment as well, while Tales of Vesperia (Xbox 360) is $15 right now, which is a great price for a good J-RPG (I personally picked this up at this price, I'll review it when I beat it).

And remember people, this is just some of the console deals going on. You absolutely want to be looking at this page throughout the weekend to keep up with everything. Happy hunting!
